We will open 2025 by marking the establishment of the Soka Gakkai International 50 years ago, on January 26, 1975. Now, as it was then, our work to transform the destiny of humanity is more important than ever.
In The New Human Revolution, Ikeda Sensei writes: “The struggle for kosen-rufu is an endless flight” (NHR-2, p. 312) and “The spirit of the Soka Gakkai is to always boldly face adversity and steadily advance. As long as this spirit remains, there will be growth and victory” (NHR-24, p. 245).
Toward the Soka Gakkai’s centennial in 2030, we as members of Los Angeles Pan-Pacific Zone are determined to soar ever higher as we spread friendship, build community and foster the youth who will inherit the future. Let us make this pledge together on New Year’s Day.
